What do you use our data for?

We treat your data — and the candidate data you access through Runwayz — as something we hold in trust to make the platform work. We don't monetize it through advertising, we don't sell it, and we don't use it to train AI models. Here's how that breaks down:

Your organization's data.

Your account information, postings, and engagement data are used to operate the platform, generate the reports and analytics in your dashboard, and improve the service for organizations like yours. We don't share your roster, postings, or campaign performance with other organizations on the platform — including competitors in your sector.

Candidate data you access through Runwayz.

When you view, filter, or contact talent on the platform, you're working with data Runwayz holds on behalf of those users, as their service provider. We share with you only what each candidate has authorized, and that authorization is logged. We don't enrich profiles with data purchased from brokers or scraped from elsewhere; what you see is what each candidate told us, and what they agreed to show you. Additional safeguards apply when you access talent under 17 through institutional programs.

AI and automated decision-making.

Runwayz uses AI to surface pathways, suggest matches, and help talent present themselves clearly. It is not designed as a decision system: hiring, admissions, and eligibility decisions stay with your team, and we do not generate scores or rankings intended to displace your judgment. We do not use candidate data to train AI models — neither ours nor any third party's.
